Garlic Parmesan Chicken

A delicious and easy recipe for tender chicken breasts coated in a savory garlic and Parmesan cheese sauce.

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season them with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add butter to the skillet and melt it over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  • Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
