gluten-free artisan cheese bread

This gluten-free artisan cheese bread is perfect for breakfast or as a side to any meal. It's cheesy, flavorful, and surprisingly easy to make!

  • 2.5 cups Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Bob's Red Mill brand recommended
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Sharp cheddar is best
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning Optional

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.

  • Add the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, milk, olive oil, and Italian seasoning (if using) to the bowl. Stir until just combined.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder to the batter. Enjoy!
