Gluten-Free Pizza Breadsticks

Crispy gluten-free pizza breadsticks, perfect for dipping in marinara sauce.

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour blend
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine gluten-free flour, salt, and sugar. Make a well in the center.
  • In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough and roll it out to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into strips.
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
