Rich and decadent Guinness brownies, perfect for any occasion. These brownies are fudgy, chewy, and bursting with chocolate flavor, enhanced by the subtle bitterness of Guinness stout.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
Whisk in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in Guinness.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For an extra touch, top the brownies with chocolate chips or a dusting of cocoa powder before baking.
