  • 3 pounds pork sirloin roast trimmed of excess fat
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary fresh, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon thyme dried
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Rub the mixture all over the pork roast.
  • Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 90 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the pork roast overnight.
