This Honey Garlic Chicken recipe is a quick and easy weeknight meal. Tender chicken pieces are coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect served over rice or noodles.

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken thighs Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup Honey
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger Grated
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch Mixed with 2 tbsp water

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (or longer in the refrigerator).
  • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Pour in the cornstarch slurry and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
  • Serve immediately over rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.

Notes

Serve with a side of steamed broccoli or your favorite vegetables.
