These meatball subs are packed with flavor and are incredibly easy to make. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal!

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Lean ground beef works best
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Egg Lightly beaten
  • 24 oz Marinara Sauce
  • 7 Sub Rolls
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese Shredded

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix well with your hands.
  • Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  • Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • While meatballs are baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan.
  • Once meatballs are cooked, add them to the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Slice sub rolls and place them on a baking sheet. Top each roll with meatballs and sauce, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

You can add other toppings like onions and peppers for added flavor. Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your liking.
