  • 4 oz Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Pounded to 0.25 inch thickness
  • 4 slices Cooked ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 0.33 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 0.75 cup Breadcrumbs Plain or Italian seasoned
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each chicken breast. Fold the chicken breast in half, or roll it up tightly.
  • Place flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs into separate shallow dishes.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear each chicken breast for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly golden brown.
  • Transfer the seared chicken breasts to the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve immediately.
