Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, kimchi, glass noodles, onion, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper.
Mix all the ingredients well until thoroughly combined.
Place a mandu wrapper on a flat surface. Put a spoonful of the filling in the center of the wrapper.
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper in half to form a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal. You can create pleats along one side of the dumpling for a more decorative look.
Repeat the process until all the filling is used.
Heat a lightly oiled skillet or steamer over medium heat. Cook the dumplings for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown (if frying) or steam for about 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Enjoy your homemade Korean Mandu! They can also be frozen for later use. Simply freeze them on a baking sheet before transferring to a freezer bag.
