Total: 20 minutes minutes
Ingredients
- 8 ounces soft cheese such as Brie or goat cheese
- 8 ounces firm cheese such as cheddar or Manchego, sliced
- 8 ounces cured meats such as salami and prosciutto
- 1 cup fresh fruit such as grapes, berries, or sliced pear
- 1 cup crackers or sliced baguette for serving
- 1/2 cup olives and pickles drained
- 1/2 cup nuts such as almonds or walnuts
- 1/2 cup jam or honey for serving
Instructions
Set the cheeses on a large board, spacing the soft and firm varieties apart.
Fold or loosely arrange the cured meats beside the cheeses, varying the shapes for easy picking.
Fill small bowls with jam or honey, olives, and pickles, then nestle them on the board.
Add fruit, nuts, crackers, and baguette to fill the open spaces and create contrasting colors and textures.
Serve immediately, or cover and chill briefly; bring the board toward room temperature before serving.
