  • 1 lb Pasta Penne or your favorite pasta shape
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Cowboy Butter Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Butter unsalted
  • 2 tbsp Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Parsley freshly chopped
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Cayenne Pepper (Optional, for extra spice)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Preparation Steps

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • While pasta is cooking, prepare the Cowboy Butter: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant. Stir in parsley, thyme, red pepper flakes, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • In a separate skillet, cook chicken over medium-high heat until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet with the chicken. Pour in heavy cream and Cowboy Butter. Toss to coat.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

Notes

Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if desired. For a spicier dish, add more red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
