  • 12 oz Egg Noodles Uncooked
  • 2 cups Cooked Ham Diced
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese Sharp cheddar recommended
  • 1.5 cups Milk Whole milk is best
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup Condensed
  • 0.5 cup Frozen Peas
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain well.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, ham, cheddar cheese, milk, cream of mushroom soup, peas, and black pepper.
  • Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispier topping, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the casserole before baking. You can also use different types of cheese, such as Swiss or Gruyere.
