Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Remove stems from mushrooms and set aside. Lightly brush mushroom caps with olive oil.
In a bowl, combine shredded white cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Spoon cheese mixture into each mushroom cap, packing lightly.
Place stuffed mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and cheese is melted and golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve immediately for the best flavor. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
