Instant Pot Baked Ziti

A quick and easy Instant Pot Baked Ziti recipe that's perfect for a weeknight meal. This cheesy, comforting dish is ready in under an hour!

  • 1 lb Ziti Pasta uncooked
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar Marinara Sauce (24 oz)
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Set Instant Pot to sauté mode. Brown ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add uncooked ziti pasta and beef broth to the Instant Pot. Make sure pasta is mostly submerged.
  • Secure the lid and set to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 8 minutes, followed by a 5-minute natural pressure release, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  • Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Place the lid back on the Instant Pot. Set to Keep Warm or Low Sauté until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a dollop of pesto to each serving. Garnish with fresh basil for an extra touch.
