Korean Spicy Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.25 cup Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger, minced
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken in a single layer (work in batches if necessary).
  • Cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  • Serve hot with rice and your favorite side dishes. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
