Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, evaporated milk, softened cream cheese, eggs, melted butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Beat until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
This cake is delicious served on its own or with a dusting of powdered sugar. For an extra lemon kick, you can top with a lemon glaze.
