  • 1 box Lemon Cake Mix
  • 1.25 cup Water
  • 0.33 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 package Lemon Instant Pudding Mix

Glaze

  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Melted Butter

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil, eggs, and pudding mix. Beat until well combined.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool slightly, then poke holes all over the cake with a fork.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and melted butter until smooth. Pour glaze over the cake, making sure to get it into the holes.
  • Let the glaze set before serving.

Notes

For a more intense lemon flavor, add the zest of one lemon to the cake batter and glaze.
