  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in lemon zest.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a glaze.
  • Drizzle glaze over warm cookies.
