  • 4 tablespoons Butter Unsalted
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 0.25 teaspoon Paprika Optional, for color
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 0.125 teaspoon Black Pepper To taste

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Use kitchen shears to cut the top of the lobster tail shells lengthwise, without cutting through the bottom shell. Gently separate the meat from the shell and lift it slightly. Place the lobster meat on top of the shell.

  • In a small bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper.

  • Brush the butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. Cooking time will depend on the size of the lobster tails.

  • Serve immediately with extra melted butter and lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, use fresh lobster tails. You can also grill the lobster tails for a smoky flavor.
