Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread the Parmesan mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
In a large oven-safe skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
