Marble Black and White Cupcakes

Delicious marble cupcakes with a stunning black and white swirl.

  • 1.75 cups All-purpose flour spooned and leveled
  • 1.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 3.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine oil, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Divide the batter in half. In one bowl, stir in cocoa powder.
  • Spoon alternating dollops of vanilla and chocolate batter into each cupcake liner.
  • Swirl the batters together using a toothpick or skewer to create a marble effect.
  • Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cupcakes cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
