  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Whipped Cream Filling

  • 2 cup Heavy cream Cold
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, milk, eggs, melted butter, matcha powder, and salt until smooth.
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle or crepe pan over medium heat. Pour about 0.25 cup of batter onto the hot surface, tilting the pan to spread the batter evenly.
  • Cook for about 2 minutes per side, or until lightly golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter, stacking crepes on a plate lined with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • Place one crepe on a serving plate and spread a thin layer of whipped cream over it. Repeat with remaining crepes and whipped cream, stacking them into a cake.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Dust with extra matcha powder before serving, if desired.
