Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, bell pepper, Creole seasoning, and egg. Mix well with your hands.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
In a separate bowl, whisk together tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce (if using).
Pour the tomato sauce mixture over the meatloaf.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetables.
