Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, lemon juice, and cream of tartar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes.
Stir in crushed crackers and pour into a 9-inch pie shell. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
Let cool before serving.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat!
