In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix well.
Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or into cupcake liners.
Filling Preparation
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
Assembly & Chilling
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Smooth the top.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
Cut into slices or remove from cupcake liners and serve. Garnish as desired.
