Preparation Steps
In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Stir in the shredded coconut until well combined.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. You can chill the mixture for about 15 minutes if it's too soft to handle easily.
Roll the balls in additional shredded coconut, if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
