No-Bake Peanut Butter Pretzel Bars
Make no-bake peanut butter pretzel bars with crispy rice cereal, oat flour, agave, and nut butter for a salty-sweet snack that chills firm without an oven.

Ingredients
- 1 cup crispy rice cereal brown or white
- 1/2 cup oat flour packed; blend oats to make it if needed
- 1/4 tsp salt adjust if nut butter is salted
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 5 tbsp agave syrup pure maple syrup may be substituted
- 3 tbsp peanut butter or another nut butter; gently warm if refrigerated
- 1 handful pretzels broken into pieces
- 1 batch peanut butter magic shell optional topping
Instructions
Line a 7-by-5-inch dish, or a small section of an 8-by-8-inch container, with parchment or wax paper.
Stir the rice cereal, oat flour, and salt together in a bowl.
In a larger bowl, stir the vanilla, agave, and peanut butter into a smooth, thin paste. Warm refrigerated peanut butter briefly if needed.
Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until every piece is evenly coated. Fold in the optional broken pretzels.
Transfer to the lined dish. Fold the extra paper over the mixture and press it down firmly, using the bottom of a glass or another heavy object to compact it.
Chill in the refrigerator or freezer until firm, about 30 minutes, then lift out and cut into 6 bars.
