Oat Flour Banana Bread

A delicious and healthy banana bread made with oat flour. Perfect for breakfast or a snack.

  • 1.5 cups oat flour
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed bananas
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg egg
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup walnuts Optional

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, mash bananas. Add brown sugar, oil, milk, and egg. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together oat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in walnuts (if using).
  • Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store leftover banana bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
