  • 0.75 cup Whole Milk
  • 0.75 cup Sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Oatmeal Cream Pies Chopped

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and salt.
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  • Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • In the last few minutes of churning, add the chopped Oatmeal Cream Pies.
  • Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
