Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and rub evenly over both sides.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken, coating both sides evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when checked with a meat thermometer.
Remove from the oven and cover loosely with foil. Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
