  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and rub evenly over both sides.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) on a meat thermometer.
  • Remove from the oven, cover loosely with foil, and let the chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Letting the chicken rest before slicing is crucial to keep the juices inside the meat.
