Pão de Queijo Mix

Delicious and easy-to-make Brazilian cheese bread, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Tapioca Flour Also known as tapioca starch
  • 1 cup Milk Whole milk is best
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable Oil Canola or sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1.5 cups Cheese Mix Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Minas cheese
  • 1 Egg

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  • In a saucepan, combine milk, oil, and salt. Bring to a boil.

  • Remove from heat and add tapioca flour. Stir until a smooth dough forms.

  • Let the dough cool slightly, then add the egg and cheese mix. Mix well.

  • Fill the muffin tin cups with the dough.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
