Paula Deen’s Banana Pudding

A classic Southern dessert, Paula Deen's Banana Pudding is rich, creamy, and bursting with banana flavor. Perfect for potlucks and family gatherings!

  • 1 box Vanilla Wafers
  • 6 medium Bananas Sliced
  • 3 cups Milk Cold
  • 1 package Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Whipped Topping Thawed, such as Cool Whip

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish with vanilla wafers.
  • Slice bananas and layer them over the wafers.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together milk and instant pudding mix. Let stand for 2 minutes to slightly thicken.
  • In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk and beat until well combined.
  • Gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the pudding mixture.
  • Fold in the whipped topping.
  • Pour the mixture over the bananas and wafers. Top with additional wafers, if desired. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

This banana pudding is best served cold. You can also add a sprinkle of cinnamon on top before serving for an extra touch of flavor.
