Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Continue to boil, without stirring, until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and butter.
Stir in peanuts. Quickly pour onto a greased baking sheet.
Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
