  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased bundt pan and arrange pecans on top.
  • In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, and other dry ingredients, then combine with wet ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour batter over pecans in the bundt pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • Cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a plate.

Notes

Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
