  • 8 ounce Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 ounce Cream cheese Softened
  • 0.25 cup Peppermint extract
  • 1.5 cup Crushed peppermint candies For coating

Preparation Steps

  • Melt chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, beat together melted chocolate and cream cheese until well combined. Stir in peppermint extract.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes to allow it to firm up.
  • Roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in crushed peppermint candies to coat.
  • Place truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.
