  • 1 cup Butter, softened unsalted
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Peppermint Extract
  • 2.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Soda
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 48 pieces Hershey's Kisses Peppermint flavored

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in peppermint extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Immediately press a peppermint Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
