Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, cook the steak, onions, and green pepper in olive oil until the steak is browned and the vegetables are softened.
Stir in beef broth and sloppy joe sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Place provolone cheese on top of the meat mixture and let it melt.
Serve the mixture on hamburger buns.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
