Portobello mushroom burger

A delicious and healthy vegetarian burger made with marinated portobello mushrooms. Perfect for a summer BBQ!

  • 4 large Portobello mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 Burger buns Burger buns

Preparation Steps

  • Clean and remove stems from portobello mushrooms.
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate mushrooms for 15 minutes.
  • Grill or pan-fry mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes per side, until tender.
  • Place cooked mushrooms on burger buns and serve.

Serve with your favorite burger toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese.
