Slow Cooker Apple Cobbler

An incredibly easy and delicious crockpot apple cobbler made with apple pie filling, cake mix, and butter. Just set it and forget it for a warm, comforting dessert.

  • 2 can apple pie filling 21 ounce each
  • 1 box yellow cake mix or spice cake mix 15.25 ounce
  • 0.5 cup butter melted, 1 stick
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation Steps

  • Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Pour both cans of apple pie filling into the bottom of the slow cooker and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the ground cinnamon evenly over the apple pie filling.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the apples. Do not mix.
  • Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the dry cake mix. Do not stir the ingredients together.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, or on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, until the topping is set and the filling is bubbly.
  • Spoon the warm cobbler into bowls and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the best experience. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
