Slow Cooker Baked Ziti
This slow cooker baked ziti layers tender pasta, savory beef sauce, ricotta, and melty cheese into a comforting hands-off dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ziti pasta uncooked
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 jar marinara sauce 24 ounces
- 1 can diced tomatoes 14 ounces, drained
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt divided
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella divided
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Instructions
Cook the ziti in salted water until just shy of al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the beef and onion in a skillet until the beef is no longer pink. Stir in the garlic for 30 seconds, then drain excess fat.
Stir the marinara, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, pepper, and half the salt into the beef mixture.
Layer sauce, pasta, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan in a greased slow cooker, repeating until used and ending with cheese.
Cover and cook on low for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, until bubbling and tender. Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
