Instructions
Preparation Steps
Place beef stew meat in the slow cooker.
Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over the beef.
Pour cream of mushroom soup and beef broth over the meat and soup mix.
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
Stir in softened cream cheese until melted and smooth.
Serve over cooked egg noodles.
Notes
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. For a richer flavor, use sour cream instead of cream cheese.
