Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, mix the sourdough starter with lukewarm water until combined.
Add the rye and bread flours. Stir until the dough forms.
Add salt. Mix until well combined.
Allow the dough to rest covered for 12-14 hours at room temperature.
Shape the dough into a loaf and place into a greased loaf pan.
Let it rise again for 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
Bake for 45 minutes or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
Notes
Let the bread cool completely before slicing for best results.
