Taco Salad

A flavorful and satisfying taco salad with seasoned ground beef, fresh vegetables, and a zesty dressing.

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Lean ground beef
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 head Iceberg Lettuce Shredded
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Black Olives Sliced
  • 0.5 cup Red Onion Diced
  • 1 cup Catalina Dressing
  • 1 bag Tortilla Chips

Preparation Steps

  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and add 0.25 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded lettuce, seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and red onion.
  • Crush tortilla chips and add to the bowl. Drizzle with Catalina dressing.
  • Toss to combine and serve immediately.

Notes

Add avocado or sour cream for extra flavor. Can be made ahead of time and assembled just before serving.
