Preparation Steps
Combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, water, and orange zest in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
Remove from heat and let cool completely. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
