  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional
  • 1 green onion sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds optional

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles:

  • Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions, but discard the seasoning packet.
  • Drain and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  • Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.

Add the Egg:

  • Push the sauce to one side of the pan.
  • Pour in the beaten egg and scramble until fully cooked.

Combine Noodles and Sauce:

  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet.
  • Toss everything together until well coated.
  • Drizzle with sesame oil if desired.

Serve:

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
