Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the tomato soup, then add the flour mixture gradually, mixing just until incorporated.
Pour batter into prepared baking dish and bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow cake to cool before serving.
