Trail Mix Energy Bites

Quick and easy no-bake energy bites packed with wholesome ingredients like oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. Perfect for a healthy snack!

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup Peanut butter or almond butter
  • 0.33 cup Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Mini chocolate chips optional
  • 0.33 cup Chopped nuts almonds, walnuts, etc.
  • 0.25 cup Dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  • Stir in the mini chocolate chips (if using), chopped nuts, dried cranberries, and chia seeds. Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
  • Roll the mixture into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. If the mixture is too sticky, you can chill it in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes before rolling.
  • Place the energy bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Store the energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

These energy bites are best stored in the refrigerator and will keep for up to a week. They make a great pre-workout snack or a healthy treat to curb your sweet cravings.
