Instructions
Preparation Steps
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add the rinsed rice and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly toasted.
Stir in the turmeric and cook for another minute.
Pour in the chicken broth and add salt. Stir well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, garnish with freshly chopped cilantro or parsley.
