A refreshing and vibrant fruit salad perfect for the winter months, featuring a delightful mix of seasonal fruits with a light citrus dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pears cored and chopped
  • 2 cups Apples cored and chopped
  • 1.5 cups Oranges peeled and segmented
  • 1 cup Grapefruit peeled and segmented
  • 0.5 cup Pomegranate Seeds
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Mint Leaves chopped

Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped pears, apples, orange segments, and grapefruit segments.
  • Gently fold in the pomegranate seeds and chopped fresh mint leaves.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice and honey until well combined. Pour the dressing over the fruit salad.
  • Toss gently to coat all the fruit with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

This winter fruit salad is best enjoyed fresh. You can customize it with other seasonal fruits like kiwi, tangerines, or grapes.
